In a
nutshell

Ryan Cala
Ethos
I get obsessive about the stuff most people skip. Before I open Figma, I want to actually understand what's broken and why. Then I build things meant to hold up, not just look good in a deck. Good design isn't the first mockup, it's whether the system still makes sense six months and fifty assets later.
About
About a decade in, I've gone from founding the visual identity at scrappy startups (PostgresML, Pump.co) to redesigning pages for SoFi that get millions of visits. Somewhere in between I became the person who reorganizes other people's file structures without being asked. When I'm not at my desk, I'm surfing tiny waves, rolling a natural 1, or taking lethal damage.
